MEPAP is the educational requirement for those pursuing National Certification through the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP).

This course has two phases. The first is the instructional portion where you will receive assignments such as reading, quizzes, online items, assignments, etc. The second is the practicum or practical assignments.
During the instructional phase, there will be reading assignments (self study) given for each core content area. You will also complete and submit the practicum assignment. After completing each, you will be required to submit the items to your instructor. .
The practicum program provides the student with an opportunity to apply the theoretical and philosophical foundations of the profession in a practical setting. Knowledge, skills, and abilities are learned in the workplace under the supervision of approved practicum supervisor. There are 90 hours of practical experience which are completed in conjunction with the instructional portion.
